Fast Food

I love cooking.  I’m no Nigella, but if I have the time I love to stand in the kitchen – chopping, slicing, stirring and simmering some wonderful ingredients, often with a glass of wine, repeatedly tasting the dish I’ve lovingly prepared.  But let’s get back to the real world <thud>.  It’s 7pm, I’ve just burst through the door an exhausted, sweaty mess and I need to have a shower and upload my run to strava before I even think about looking in the cupboards to see what I can throw together for tea.

So this section of the blog is all about fast food  – it won’t necessarily make you run faster, but you can get it from your fridge and be stuffing it in your face in the time you can bust out a parkrun.  I’m not bothered about calories but I do try to keep it moderately healthy and am a big advocate of eating real food – the less processed, the better.
